Our Board of Directors
The business and affairs of the Children of the World Co-op, Inc. are managed by its Board of Directors. The Board consists of a minimum of seven and not more than fifteen directors, each serving a one year renewable term. Directors are elected by the General Membership at the Annual Meeting of the Corporation, held in October of each year.
The Board of Directors is comprised of:
- At least three Parent Member Representatives
- The President of the Co-op, who is the Chair of the Board
- The Vice-President of the Co-op
- The Secretary of the Co-op
- The Treasurer of the Co-op
In addition, Board Advisors, volunteer parents and community professionals offer technical support for the operation of the Co-op.
Regular meetings of the Board are held on the second Wednesday of each month and are open to all Co-op members.
